Clear Plastic!
Year 6 Beach Clean
On Tuesday 20th June we were lucky enough to have volunteers from GRAB and the marine conservation society to come and visit us about the 'Plastic Challenge' where we try to reduce the amount of disposable plastic we use.
We started the day with a whole school assembly all about plastic and the impact it has on the ocean and then Year 6 headed to the beach, spent an hour or so cleaning the beach and then created an art installation using the found plastic.
The BBC filmed it all for a special edition of "Inside Out" which should be shown in the Autumn - keep your eyes peeled for the date!
